No — this is normal behaviour. The device measures the current actually drawn by the circuit: if no appliance is consuming power at that moment (devices switched off or in deep standby), the display reads 0 A / 0 W. Switch on a load on that circuit (a heater, a kettle) and the reading appears immediately. The voltage (around 230 V) remains displayed at all times.
For safety, auto-reclosing makes a limited number of attempts at increasing intervals, then locks out if the fault persists. This is a deliberate protection: a lasting fault (earth leakage, short circuit) requires an electrician. Once the fault is cleared, re-arm manually or wait for the reset delay stated in the user manual.
Our products work with the Tuya Smart / Smart Life apps (electrical products) or TTLock (locks and cylinders). Download the app, create an account, then follow the pairing procedure in the manual — a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is required for Wi-Fi products.
User manuals are available at any time by scanning the QR code printed on the product or its packaging. Technical documentation and compliance documents are available on request from compliance@bga.systems.
